Objective Of KALIA Scheme

Broad support for farming
Farmers get Rs. Financial assistance of Rs. 25000 / – per family in five sessions. This assistance will be given to small and marginal farmers. Assistance to purchase inputs such as seeds, fertilizers, pesticides, and to use aid for labor and other investments. 5000 / – per season provided.
Comprehensive livelihood support – Kalia Yojana Application Form
Landless agricultural families will get financial assistance of 1500 / – per family. This assistance will be provided for agricultural activities such as small goat rearing units, mini-layer units, duckery units, fishery kits for fishermen, mushroom cultivation and beekeeping etc. This benefit of the Kalia scheme is exclusively for SC / ST. Category of people of the state.
Weak agriculture help for domestic
Under the Kalia scheme, weak tenant / landless agricultural laborers who are unable to do farming due to old age will also get financial help due to disability/disease or other reasons. Every vulnerable farmer / landless agricultural laborer gets Rs. 1,0000 / – will be given.
Odisha Kalia Scheme 2021 facilities
Many benefits were provided to Odisha farmers such as: –
- Farmers will be given Rs 5000 as incentives.
- Total of Rs. 25,000 was paid to the beneficiaries.
- The funds were directly transferred to the bank accounts of the beneficiaries.
- Landless farmers used to get Rs 12, 500 annually.
- Life coverage insurance policy of Rs. 2 lakh on a premium payment of Rs. 330 beneficiaries have been made available.
- All beneficiaries get Rs. Casual coverage of 2 lakhs at a premium of Rs. 12
Eligibility Criteria Kalia Yojana Application Form 2021
To be eligible for the Kalia scheme, applicants should follow the eligibility criteria given below:
- The applicant must be a permanent resident of the state of Odisha.
- Candidates should belong to the marginal or minor category.
- Applicant should belong to BPL category.
- Any farmer who comes under the tax payment structure will not be allowed to apply for the Kalia scheme.
- If the farmer is working for the state government or central government or is associated with the PSU department then they are not eligible.
- Applicant must have a working bank account.
